In the year 2000, Zina RAHERITSIFERANA started as a driver and he run his own car rental company. He deal with many local tour operator before becoming an English tour guide. Zina was ignited by his passion of sharing the treasure of Madagascar to visitors. Finally, 15 years later, the idea to start Zina-Go was born from a partnership with foreign companies.

Zina put together a fantastic itinerary for our group of eight birders and nature enthusiasts. In our three weeks, we explored most of Madagascar's unique habitats and found over 140 bird species including our target Mesites and Asities. We saw amazing wildlife including lemurs, chameleons and Giraffe-necked Weevils. Having been to Madagascar some 30 years ago, I wanted to return for a special trip to see some of the very rare birds I had missed before. For my non-birding partner, I also wanted to have a relaxed pace and enjoy the Madagascar culture and general nature. Zina listened carefully to our requests and produced the perfect itinerary for us and we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the more adventurous parts to the beach-side lodges. We were also given a great deal of flexibility, which was much appreciated. Accommodation was selected with care at each location, and given the state of most roads in the northwest, the driver's skill and type of car ensured a safe overland journey. We can really recommend both ZinaGo, as well as the very knowledgable and nice guide Nono who took good care of us and always sorted all inevitable surprises.
